I think I've solved the IPTV blocking issue with my ISP, Free.
Here's how I do it:
When I turn on my set-top box, I configure NordVPN to use Obfuscated mode so it's not recognized by Free. Then I pause NordVPN for 5 minutes and start the IPTV service.
As soon as the VPN service is working again, there are no more IPTV dropouts.

I use it very often to browse privately, or access French television via the internet when I am abroad. Has fulfilled its role PERFECTLY so far.
